Sires and dams have health clearances and all puppies receive vaccinations
and an initial eye check by a certified canine opthamologist before going to
their new homes. Puppies are eligible for registration with both AKC and
ASCA. All puppies are sold to qualified buyers only--we require personal
references and vet references. All puppies are placed in the most suitable
home, regardless of color or sex.
Show
Prospects
Puppies sold with this type of contract are suitable for showing and
breeding. Show prospect are sold to serious competitive homes only and are
not strictly for breeding. All show/breeding prospects are sold on a
co-ownership only. Co-ownerships are held until the dog has received their
OFA clearances for hips and elbows; a CERF clearance for that year; and
earned one of the following titles: ASCA CH, ASCA CDX, or RS-O.
Companion
Prospects
Puppies sold with this type of contract are wonderful companions and possible
performance prospects, but are not for breeding. Blue Eagle guarantees the
health of the puppy. These pups are sold with limited registration and need
to be spayed or neutered.
Understand
that the careful breeding of puppies on a limited basis is not a
made-to-order business. Show verses Companion quality is not determined by
color/markings apparent at birth but by overall structure/movement. Structure
and movement cannot be judged until between 6-8 weeks of age. Both Companion
and Show puppies are physically and mentally sound; the differences are based
on the pup's comparison to the breed standard. Only puppies determined to
contribute to the betterment of the breed are sold as show quality.
We will take a puppy/dog back at any time. Our dogs' well being and health
are our first concern which is why we have a satisfaction guarantee--the pup
can always come home here no matter what.
