(who Blue Eagle Kennels is named after) went with me to Bakersfield,
California, for my first ASCA Nationals experience. We had a SUPER
time. As a typical "first-timer" we entered everything we
were ready for: 3 dogs in conformation and two dogs in obedience-this
included all pre-shows and Nationals itself. WOW! We were really busy.
Dad, who really isn't that much a dog person, helped out by hauling
dogs around the fairgrounds, running to Wal-Mart (at LEAST a hundred
times), and just basically being a gofer. I couldn't have done it
without him. I THINK he even had a good time, too! |
